Jõuluhäppening 2019

Järgnev jõulujutt on tõestisündinud lugu tudengielust.

“Eksamieelse öösi eksinud üks teekäija tudeng tuisuse ilmaga ära. Eksinult ringi käies jõudnud ta ühe tudengimaja juurde, kus tuli paistnud. See olnud TalTech tudengimaja vihusaun. Tudeng läinud sisse teed ja öömaja küsima. Seal leidnud ta akustilise muusika, tule põlemas ning ühe halli habemega vanamehe.
Tudeng küsinud vanamehe käest, kas ta ei võiks siia ööseks jääda, sest ta ise ja ta õppematerjal olevat eksamiteekäigust väsinud ning ilm väga tuisune. Ta mõtelnud, et siin oleks õige hea soojas majas külmetanud konte puhata.”

Kampus on hämar, juba päeval kella viiest saati. Ainult tudengimaja multivärvilised jõulutuled tunduvad nagu hubased päikesed. Nende järgi on hea tuisu käest sooja tulla! Ja kui aknast paistab valgus, võib alati uksest sisse astuda – ka siis, kui kellaaeg väidab midagi muud!

Kultuuriklubi kutsub jõulud taas tudengimajja! Kuuse ehtisime ka ära!

Here’s the true Christmas story of a student’s life…

“It was the night before the exam and no one but a lost student was to be seen walking around in the stormy weather. As he was making his way through the storm, he noticed a tiny light peeking through the doors of a nearby student house. But it wasn’t any student house – the lost student had found his way to the TalTech Student House. He stepped inside and went on to ask for some tea and a place to sleep. But instead he found himself in a room filled with soothing acoustic music and the crackling of a fire along with an old grey-bearded man.
The student then kindly asked the old man whether he could spend the night at the Student House, because he, as well as all of his study materials, were so tired from the long road and the weather outside was showing no signs of calming down anytime soon. “It would be a lovely place to warm up at,” he thought.”

Thus, here’s the lesson

The campus begins to grow dusk as early as 5 P.M. Only the Student House’s colorful Christmas lights can then give you a snug and cozy feel. They will shine their warmth and guide you away from the cold! And if you notice a beam of light coming through the window – don’t hesitate to join us, even if time says otherwise!
